This week, the markets are following a few important economic data. Below are some of the most important data that may have an impact on market movements:

Tuesday - Australian Interest Rate Decision

The Reserve Bank of Australia is due to announce its interest rate decision on Tuesday morning and interest rates are expected to remain unchanged at 1.5% for the 21st consecutive meeting, the longest interest-holding period since 1990.

Wednesday - Australian Growth Data

The Australian economy is expected to grow during the first quarter of 2018, with GDP expected to rise by 0.8% after slowing in the last quarter of 2017, growing just by 0.4%.

Thursday - Japan and the euro-zone growth data

The Japanese economy is expected to grow during the first quarter of 2018, with GDP expected to rise by 0.9% following a contraction in the last quarter of 2017.

The Euro-zone economy is expected to grow in the first quarter of 2018, with the GDP reading expected to stabilize at 0.4 percent on a monthly basis and at 2.5 percent on yearly basis.
