UK wants to end the jurisdiction of the European Court of Justice after Brexit

Following its departure from the European Union, the United Kingdom wishes to consider legal arrangements for future civil judicial cooperation and to seek agreement on cross-border civil judicial cooperation on a reciprocal basis, reflecting closely the principles of the current EU framework.
UK stressed that they would remain a member of The Hague Conference after Brexit.

According to recent proposals papers, Britain wants an agreement that "closely reflects the EU system and provides a clear legal basis for supporting cross-border activities after the UK withdrawal."
