New Zealand First Party leader has not yet decided

Winston Peters, New Zealand first leader, made the following statement:

  • No decision has yet been taken on either side's support.
  • There is a serious consensus on policy work but not on final outcome.
  • There is still a need for further discussions with the Labor Party and the National party.
  • The members of the New Zealand first party returned home after two days of meetings.
  • The party board members spent two days discussing and preparing for a final decision.
  • The work of the board has ended at this stage but more work needs to be done on differences in accounts and other matters before the final decision is made
